This number will put you in touch with our dispatchers. We are dispatched by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The more information you can provide the sooner emergency services will be able to reach you. Important information you can provide is: the 911 address where the emergency is located, the nature of the emergency – whether it is a house fire, car accident, grass fire, etc. If the emergency occurs after dark, signs such as porch lights or 4-way flashers are very helpful to emergency personnel. It may be turning around or backing into an unknown area. Be patient. Failure to yield to an emergency vehicle is against the law.
