Dear Fellow Public Servant,
My name is Dan Bartolini and I am a 3rd grade math, science and social studies teacher at Sheridan Elementary School here in Katy, Texas. Recently, I have started planning a brand new curriculum that will focus on our wonderful fire and police departments from around the United States. Every year we have a section of time where we focus on public servants and their invaluable services they give so selflessly. As a focusing unit I would like to provide the students with a collection of both fire & police patches and the like, to further their interest and get them “onboard” for the lessons that will follow. Hung in the classroom they will be a positive influence as well as a constant reminder.
I was wondering if it would be at all possible to get one of your department’s patches or something that might motivate an 8 to 9 year old. I would truly appreciate it and my kiddos will be in awe, 3rd graders are easily impressed! If you could PLEASE find it in your heart to donate to me and my Class of 2020, we would really appreciate it.
If you are able, please send it to:

On Dec. 25, 2011 I want to thank the men on a squad call to CR-3 area for their quick response and professional behavior at the scene. These men acted quickly to assest the situation and reacted in a timely fashion to transport. My children were impressed with these men as they performed their work and talked with other family members to calm their nerves. So, thank-you Mike, Zack and Joe you are an example of what a professional EMT/firefighter should be.

I am interested in hearing about your Summit Rescue Truck. My fire company has heard less than stellar reports about the Summit products and I would like to get some other opinions on their products.

I would like to see a little more pictures of your fire apparatus. Possibly show the back or insides of the fire apparatus.
Thanks, Wesley Hall
